Commentary

If you’ve been following Rasputin Barxotka for any length of time, you’ll know which statement is the lie.  I was originally going to end this chapter here, but I decided to add a few more pages.  Why?  Because I can.  On another note, if you’re wondering what Camello and Lucky did after the trial, you might want to check this guest comic out.

Need Inspiration?

Seriously, read the autobiography of Nick “Superdude” Dupree right now.  This guy seriously rocks!  While you are at it, check out his webcomics.

Need Some Amusement?

Lucky is the protagonist of Rasputin Barxotka and my brainchild. Oddly enough, he is also one of the characters I despise the most in the series. Inspired by Meow, and to perhaps gain some empathy for my character and some understanding as well, I decided to do Amber Neely’s Character Age Meme.

I find it fascinating that the only portrait in which Lucky is smiling happens to be age five. He just does not seem like a happy guy. Another thing that surprised me was how ridiculously gorgeous he was once he hit puberty — especially when he was an aspirant at Intelligence Training School at age 17.  That probably explains how he developed his knack for scoring with people who seem to be way out of his league. It’s too bad he let himself go in his mid-twenties when he ended up being an irrigation supervisor instead of a fancy KGB officer.

FRAME 6
The scene changes to the present. Camello and Romeo are listening to Virginia read in a purple living room. A disgusted Virginia is holding a yellow book and the two men can only be seen from the back. Presumably they are sitting. She is wearing a purple shirt and matching flowered skirt. Both Camello and Romeo are wearing full-brimmed hats. Camello hair is shoulder length, and he's also wearing a leather jacket. Romeo is wearing a new toupe, a dark blue vest and light blue shirt.

Virginia Reading Camello's Book
...and, that was why I told my first and only lie.
Camello To Romeo and Virginia
Auntie, uncle; how did you like my book?
