End Of Story Followed By A Review
If you’ve been following Rasputin Barxotka for any length of time, you’ll know which statement is the lie. I was originally going to end this chapter here, but I decided to add a few more pages. Why? Because I can. On another note, if you’re wondering what Camello and Lucky did after the trial, you might want to check this guest comic out.
Need Some Amusement?
Lucky is the protagonist of Rasputin Barxotka and my brainchild. Oddly enough, he is also one of the characters I despise the most in the series. Inspired by Meow, and to perhaps gain some empathy for my character and some understanding as well, I decided to do Amber Neely’s Character Age Meme.
I find it fascinating that the only portrait in which Lucky is smiling happens to be age five. He just does not seem like a happy guy. Another thing that surprised me was how ridiculously gorgeous he was once he hit puberty — especially when he was an aspirant at Intelligence Training School at age 17. That probably explains how he developed his knack for scoring with people who seem to be way out of his league. It’s too bad he let himself go in his mid-twenties when he ended up being an irrigation supervisor instead of a fancy KGB officer.
Closeup on Camello. He seems shocked by the commotion.
Camello To Lucky and Romeo
What the hell?
Closeup on Romeo. His toupe is falling off. His hat is somewhere on the floor. His mouth is bleeding and most of his teeth are knocked out. He looks up at Camello pleadingly. His speech is impaired by the blood and lack of teeth.
Romeo To Camello
Did Baftawe teash you the ways of perversum?
Closeup on Camello. He is irritated and embarrassed at answering the question. He rolls his eyes.
Camello To Romeo
No, a slimy tentacled space alien did. Shall I continue?
Romeo looking up at his nephew Camello, doe eyed and disgusted by the prospect of that answer..
Romeo To Camello (Uncomfortable pause)
The bruised Lucky stands up and stares at Camello. He looks confused and agitated. Camello just seems angry and points at himself while screaming the question.
Lucky To Camello
Why did he call me gadje?
Camello To Lucky
I have no idea. DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE FIRST AID KIT IS?
The scene changes to the present. Camello and Romeo are listening to Virginia read in a purple living room. A disgusted Virginia is holding a yellow book and the two men can only be seen from the back. Presumably they are sitting. She is wearing a purple shirt and matching flowered skirt. Both Camello and Romeo are wearing full-brimmed hats. Camello hair is shoulder length, and he's also wearing a leather jacket. Romeo is wearing a new toupe, a dark blue vest and light blue shirt.

...and, that was why I told my first and only lie.

Auntie, uncle; how did you like my book?
