Commentary

The fact that Romeo is aiming to kill Bahktale in front of his father’s fresh corpse while calling him Gadje, is probably the most degrading and possibly most dangerous insult that he can hurl at Bahktale’s entire family tree.  With his actions, Romeo is saying that Lucky and his ancestors aren’t worthy of their own Roma blood.
