Hello visitors!
In a few weeks, the current chapter will be over and a new one will begin. I will be getting some help with the coloring. My second-in-command Skaja, and my personal assistant/husband Loki have approved Mandarr as the new colorist. I personally scouted this manga artist and was immediately struck by her passion for color. My biggest concern about Mandarr was the possibility that as a manga artist she would not get my style. Thankfully, those fears were allayed when Mandarr adapted beautifully to my drawings. Here’s the test color sheet that she sent me:

Mandarr was very good about keeping the brushiness of Rasputin Barxotka, but approaches it in a much different and crisper way than I do. This is very good! In The Webcomic Lists Forum, one of the biggest criticisms of how I approached my work was the fact that my lines were not as clear as they should be. Mandarr approaches this problem like a champ, without messing with the unique stylized approach that I’ve worked for years to develop. Her lovely work is a drastic change from what you normally see here. My visitors are what make Rasputin Barxotka possible and your feedback is more important than ever. Is there anything she can do better, or do you think that she’s nailed this comic? Please leave your comments below. Mandarr and I would love reading your feedback!
Cheers,
Vas

Top Left: Looks fantastic;
Top Right: The lines are a bit too thick for my taste, but just my opinion;
Bottom Right: The lines on the body need a bit more cleaning up;
Bottom Left: The shading looks a little bit off from the lines.
Overall, I like Amanda’s style.
Lines are my fault. She re-inked them faithfully. I will pass the message along.
My very first impression is WOW, then after reading your post, I think that your right, it is maybe a lil bit overly crisp, I think the lines tho are deff yours and the overall look and feel of it goes together nicely.
I am in complete agreement.
